Call for Papers: ATCA Conference Proceedings

The annual call for papers for the Conference Proceedings of ATCA is underway. Abstracts are due by August 6th 2010; manuscripts are due by September 24th.

The Conference Proceedings serve as one of the air traffic community’s leading sources for technical papers. They are part of ATCA’s continuing efforts to provide an outlet for formal, academic and professional communication in the air traffic control disciplines. Publishing your best work in the Conference Proceedings is an opportunity to share technical, policy and procedural information with other professionals, academia, media, industry and others.

The Proceedings will be distributed again in CD form this year to everyone attending ATCA’s 2010 Annual Conference and Exhibition which occurs this year at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in the Washington, DC metro area (October 24-27, 2010). The Association will accept approximately three of the best papers for authors to personally present at the Conference. The top three presenters will receive free admission on the day of their presentation.

Though suggested topics for the Proceedings will be based on this year’s Annual Conference program and are still in development, they will be suggestions only. All papers on topics relevant to air traffic control will be considered for publication and presentation. So if you have a topic in mind that you want to write about, it is time to begin.
